I Am A Reindeer - Story 2

I am a young female reindeer fawn. My mother has beautiful large black eyes and a beautiful light brown fur coat with white spots here and there. On her head she has a pair of short horns. My mother tells me that when I grow up, I am going to be exactly like her. My father is the leader of a herd of reindeer and all male and female reindeer obey him. He has large horns on his head but his coat and eyes are like my mother’s.

We roam about the hills in search of grass and water from streams. We love to run on the hills, climbing steep edges and running after each other. I am happy to be a reindeer because I love to play with other fawns like me in the fresh air of the hills.
