I Am a Sheep - Story 2

I am a sheep. My master calls me Chanelle. My master is a shepherd. I live on a farm in a shade. I give my wool to people to make coats and jumpers, I also give them meat which is called mutton and fresh milk too. I eat grass and I drink fresh water. I like to run and jump in the fields with other sheep. My shepherd takes good care of us and he has two sheepdogs. My shepherd feeds us in the morning and in the evening. We are many sheep in the flock; some of us are small, others are big. I am one of the smallest ones.

One day, a bog bad wolf tried to eat us but the shepherd and the sheepdogs came in time to save us. I am happy to be a sheep because I am proud to help people and I love my shepherd very much!

Chanelle Abela.

I Am a Sheep - Story 1

I am a sheep, the youngest of the flock. My fellow-sheep call me “Curly Curly” because of my curly short wool. I seem to be the shepherd’s favourite little sheep since he likes to carry me on his shoulders and calls me “My Plumpy One.” We sheep are very proud of ourselves because we have been chosen by Jesus in His stories.

Our shepherd wakes up early in the morning and takes us on the hills or in the fields to drink fresh water from the stream and eat fresh green grass. If we get lost, the shepherd throws small stones near us with a sling and we go back to the flock. We are fat, so we can’t run very fast and our feet are tiny, therefore if we fall somewhere and the shepherd does not notice that we fell down and doesn’t come to save us, we can die. If we are tired, the shepherd gives us a piece of cheese to get our energy back.

We sheep are very happy that we give products to people such as milk, wool, sheepskin and meat which is called mutton and that is what I don’t really like to talk about! From milk, cheese is usually made. However, we sheep are best known all over the world because of our wool. Early in Summer, the shepherd shaves off our wool and so we feel fresh and meanwhile new wool will be growing to protect us from the Winter cold. Our wool is used to make clothing to keep people warm.

I hope that people appreciate our cosy wool. I am very pleased that we sheep are useful to men. I am very happy that I am a sheep and I have a shepherd who takes good care of me and loves me so much!

I Am a Snowman - Story 4

I am a snowman. My name is Snowy White. I am called by this name because I live in the cold countries where it snows. I am made of snow. Everyday a little robin comes to visit me. He always comes at the same time! Children build me with snow. They make two big snowballs and use a spade to move more snow towards me. People decorate me with a scarf, a hat and a broomstick or a spade. I am very popular and you can also find me on Christmas cards. There is a song about me too and it is called, ”Frosty the Snowman.” Children and people like to make me and they do me very well. I am white as snow because snow is white. I like to be a snowman because I like it when children dance around me singing my song. There are many things that I like as a snowman and if I start talking about them, I will never finish!

I Am a Snowman - Story 3

My name is Snowy. I live in England. My favourite season is Winter. I am made of snow. I have two buttons for my eyes and a big orange carrot for my nose. I wear a black hat on my head and a green scarf round my neck. Children love to play with me and some of them also take photos with me. At Christmas time I am very happy but in Summer I am very sad because the weather is hot and I melt away and you will have to wait for Winter to see me again!

I Am a Snowman - Story 2

Winter is once again with us and in Winter, rain and snow also come. Needless to say, I love Winter since without the rain, the cold and snow, I cannot be!

I am made of snow, which is frozen weather and rain coming down from the sky. Snow fills all the streets, gardens, roof tops and even cars.

Children really love to see snow because they use it for many kinds of games and one of them us building snowmen just like me. They begin by piling up a lot of snow together into an oval to form my body and then above my body they place a round ball of snow which becomes my head.

Now comes the nicest part; children have a lot of ideas how to decorate my face. Sometimes they use a large orange carrot as my nose and two small brown potatoes as my eyes. For my mouth, children love to put two pieces of red pepper. Children put small pieces of coal on my body as buttons. Sometimes they dress me up with an old hat and coat to keep me warm!

I love being a snowman since I make children and grown ups happy when they see me. I am most beautiful during Christmas time and if I am left quietly alone, I will last till Spring when I will melt away little by little.

I Am a Snowman - Story 1

I live in a yard in a cold and icy place. I am made of snow, that is why I am called a Snowman. I have a human shape like a real man, but I am not made of flesh and blood. On my head, I always have a black rounded hat. My little eyes are made of coal. My nose is not a real one but it is a pointed orange carrot. I don’t have ears but I have a smiley mouth. It is very cold, so I wear a colourful scarf. My hands are made out of sticks from tall trees but I can’t move them. On my big fat tummy, I have two blue buttons. U can’t walk because I don’t have any legs.
I only have one problem. When Winter finishes and Summer begins, I melt away and you won’t see till the next frozen Winter.

Winter Time

With snow all over the world in this cold Winter season, building snowmen is a favourite hobby for most children. We have no snow in Malta and so our children can never build snowmen but they can really imagine one and that is what they wrote about.

I Am A Reindeer - Story 4

I am Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer. My fur is brown with white spots. My paws are black. Although I am not a big reindeer, I am very strong. I live in the woods near a river with other reindeer. Santa Claus and his elves feed us hay and take us to the nearby river to drink fresh water.

One day Santa Claus came to talk to us. He called me and told me,” I chose you to lead my sleigh. That’s why I called you Rudolph.” I was happy and very proud that he chose me. There was no time to loose, so we started our sleigh training with other twelve reindeer. Christmas Eve soon came and I was very excited. We gathered together on the sleigh; Santa Claus, me and lots of presents. We flew over houses and landed on the roof tops that Santa indicated. This was my first experience as a Santa Claus Reindeer, so I had fun watching him going down the chimneys. There were houses with no chimneys too, so he got inside from the balcony or the yard. Suddenly, there was a big fog and Santa Claus could hardly see anything. I shook my head and my nose lighted up, so he could see clearly.

Although I felt very tired on Christmas Eve, I am still happy that for one day we made lots of children smile…I really wish that everyday would be CHRISTMAS !

I Am A Reindeer - Story 3

I am a reindeer. My name is Rudolph. I have brown eyes and a big red nose. I live in Finland with Santa Claus who takes good care of me and of the other reindeer. I go from place to place with Santa. I take Santa Claus to the roof tops so that he can go down the chimneys to leave his presents for good girls and boys of all ages. We make long journeys in the month of December in cold weather. I like to be a reindeer because I like to help Santa Claus and his elves to see kids happy with a smile on their faces.

I Am A Reindeer - Story 2

I am a young female reindeer fawn. My mother has beautiful large black eyes and a beautiful light brown fur coat with white spots here and there. On her head she has a pair of short horns. My mother tells me that when I grow up, I am going to be exactly like her. My father is the leader of a herd of reindeer and all male and female reindeer obey him. He has large horns on his head but his coat and eyes are like my mother’s.

We roam about the hills in search of grass and water from streams. We love to run on the hills, climbing steep edges and running after each other. I am happy to be a reindeer because I love to play with other fawns like me in the fresh air of the hills.

I Am A Reindeer - Story 1

I am a reindeer. My name is Rudolph. I am very special reindeer. I help Santa Claus. I enjoy it very much. It is fun to help Santa at night. My nose is red. There is a song about me and they named it after me; “Rodolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.” The song says that I had “a very shiny nose and if you ever saw him, you would even say it glows.” Is this really true?

I am a Christmas Tree - Story 4

I am green and I have lots of leaves which are thick. I am one of the most beautiful Christmas you have ever seen! I stay eleven months stored in a box; only during the month of December they bring me out. Children gather around me and start to assemble me. On the top of me, they put a star or an angel. There are always colourful bulbs on my branches. They also hang beautiful ornaments like snowflakes, balls, angels and shooting stars on me. Around me they put tinsel too. The last thing they use to decorate me with are bows. My pleasure is that day after day, the presents under me always increase. The children come near me to look for their presents. In the evening, I am prettier because they light me up. It is great being a Christmas tree because I make a big part of the story of Christmas.

I am a Christmas Tree - Story 3

I live in the forest. I don’t want somebody to cut me down and put me in the shop to be sold. At Christmas time, woodcutters decorate me with colourful baubles and tinsel and these decorations make me look prettier than ever. Animals such as squirrels and birds find shelter in my branches. When it snows I am white because snow covers me all over. I like to be a Christmas tree because Christmas time is a wonderful time when people are happy and at peace with each other.

I am a Christmas Tree - Story 2

I am a Christmas tree. You find me in houses, in hotels and in many other places at Christmas time. At this time of year, people decorate me with red or gold baubles, tinsel and many other beautiful things. At Christmas time, your presents are safe under my branches. I see Santa Claus a lot because he leaves his presents under my care and on Christmas morning, children open their presents and sing around me with joy.

A long time ago, people decorated real Christmas trees but now people use artificial ones to help save our planet Earth. I am made of plastic but look very similar to a real tree. I am in the house of a wonderful family. I always stand straight. This family lets me stay decorated for two whole weeks and then they put me in the box room till next December is here.

I like to be a Christmas tree because I like to see Santa Claus. I would like to remain in the house of this wonderful family too. I like it when people put presents under me because taking care of these precious presents makes me feel special, responsible and important.

I am a Christmas Tree - Story 1

Each Christian country celebrates Christmas in its special way. Part of these celebrations include Christmas decorations. No other Christmas decoration, apart from the figure of Baby Jesus and the crib is more popular than myself – the Christmas Tree!
I was a German invention over a hundred years ago. Today, I can be found all over the world. I began as a natural tree, however, since in many places trees like me could not be found, man-made looking trees made me popular everywhere. I come in various sizes and colours. The largest Christmas tree is usually decorated in a large open square in the city of New York. I am so happy that people decorate me in all sorts of things, however, nothing pleases me more than when someone decorates me in a traditional way with sweets and small toys. At the very top of me, an angel or a star are placed. Christmas lights are also places on my branches and during the night nothing is more beautiful!
Father Christmas prefers to place presents under Christmas trees and this makes me even more important.

What is Christmas without a Christmas Tree?

We find Christmas Trees everywhere during the Christmas season: at home, at school, in church, in shops and even in streets.
An
angel or a star is often placed at the top of the tree, representing the host of angels or the Star of Bethlehem from the Nativity.
Children love Christmas Trees and they pretended to be one themselves and wrote interesting things which they would like to share with you too.
